About “Class Suspension of and Compulsory Testing Arrangement”

The number of students absent due to symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection in our school has increased. According to the guidelines of the Center for Health Protection, our school will be suspended from April 28 (Wed) to May 2 (Sun). All people who stayed at our school for two hours or longer from April 14th to 27th, 2021, must undergo a compulsory COVID-19 test before April 29th (Thursday). The government included our school in the compulsory testing announcement.

  1. Arrangements for compulsory testing of students



Action to be taken

April 28 (Wednesday)

Morning Calss:

12:30p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Collect the test sample bottle at the school.

Nursery Class:

Collect the stool sample bottle

Low and Upper classes:

Collect the specimen bottle

Whole-day Class:

1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Afternoon Class:

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

On or before May 1 (Saturday)


If students use the sample bottles provided by the school for the testing, they must return the samples to the collection points on or before May 1 (Saturday).

  • If a student has been tested during the announced exemption period (April 25 to April 27), it will be deemed to have complied with the requirements of the compulsory test announcement. Please save the negative test result for showing when the classes resume. (If you have any questions or inquiries about the exemption period, please contact the school office.)


  • Parents are required to keep SMS notifications containing the test result of students, and provide the SMS for the verification when law enforcement officers or school request the information.


  • Any person who fails to comply with the test announcement is an offence and can be fined HKD 5,000. The person will receive a compulsory test order and must comply the test order within the specified period. Failure to comply with the compulsory testing order is an offence and can be fined HKD 25,000 and imprisoned for six months.


  1. Classroom Arrangement
  • In order to reserve time for students to undergo the compulsory testing, online classes from April 28 to April 29 will also be suspended. The class teachers will post online learning clips on ClassDojo on April 30th.


  • If there is no confirmed case of “COVID-19” in our school, our school will resume face-to-face classes on May 3, 2021 (Monday). All students must present a negative test result before entering the school. Thank you for your cooperation.
